What we do
Access Music Media provides bespoke creative music training and development opportunities for young people through a mix of one to one, group, bespoke and/or in-house training support. If you know a young person who wants to record their own music or produce videos, then our social enterprise might be the right place for them.
How we do it
Our not for profit works in partnership with existing groups across private, public or the third sectors to ensure young people have access to a robust, holistic
creative music based learning and development approach. Our main offer is a superbly equipped mobile recording studio which helps anyone aged under 25 years old to create / record their own music videos or tracks, backed up by strong partnership links
across the LB of Croydon and further afield.
Who can take part
AMM is dedicated to helping young people who face substantial barriers to getting into / back into education, employment or training. You may want to set up a music enterprise but not know where to start. You may have been excluded from school and want
to get support so you can get back into education. You may come from a family with low income, face lack of access to resources, or not know how to gain access
to relevant connections.

Why we set up
Access Music Media was set up as a reaction to the lack of creative alternative support mechanisms for young
disadvantaged people based in the LB of Croydon who were struggling to re-engage with relevant providers.
We are keen not to duplicate existing resources across education, employment, enterprise, training and other media services but operate in a holistic, multi-partnership approach with other providers; collaborating extensively.
Our core values
Which are fundamental to our approach,
these include:
Integrity and Fairness
Partnership and Accountability
Dedication to Others and Results
Unselfishness
Youth and Community Centred
